10 months old!

Allie is 10 months old already.  Time is flying!  Here's a summary of what she's doing at 10 months:

- She crawls at lightning speed and still loves to chase the cats.
- She can now say "ma-ma-ma"; however she still babbles "da-da-da" most often.
- She loves to grab fistfuls of cat food out of the cat bowls; and shake the cats' water bowl until water sloshes over the side.  I tell her "no" but she ignores me.  She goes straight to those bowls at every opportunity!
- Pulls up on my pant legs, the crib, and the toilet, of all things.
- Stands holding onto furniture.  She isn't quite confident enough to 'cruise' along the furniture yet; but she's getting very close.
- Has a constant runny nose.  Allergy testing coming soon.
- Loves to tackle and "hug" the one cat who will put up with it:  Olive.
- Insists on sitting on the bathroom counter with me while I get ready.  If I leave her on the floor to play, she protests incessantly as she pulls herself up on my pant legs. 

- Eats three meals and 1 snack every day.  Feeds herself gerbers "puffs"; but won't tolerate food with texture of any kind; and won't take any other finger food besides the puffs.

- Daycare reports that she displays more stranger anxiety than most of the other kids.  She likes her familiar caregivers and lets the unfamiliar ones know that she's not happy to go to them!
- She still loves making noise, whether it be shaking things that rattle or banging objects together. 
- Sleeps 11 hours/night.  7pm-6am.
