Is this a cute bum or what? This picture features two of my personal favorite gifts to Allie: a handmade crochet hat and cute little monogrammed bloomers, both from Allie's dad and Granny. I really like the way the photo turned out. It has an artistic and timeless quality to it I think. I ordered a large print of it and am hoping it will look good framed and displayed in Allie's room. Meanwhile, the hat will be making another appearance this weekend when it will be paired with another gift Allie received: a pink frilly tutu. Grandpa is going to come and help take pictures. Fingers crossed for a good outcome!
P.S., I never imagined I would be "that mom" who took tutu pictures. But I've surprised myself yet again.
I love this picture!!! Yes, Sally there will be many more moments as each year passes that you will become "that mom". We have all been there ;) I can't wait to see the pictures from this weekend!
