This weekend Allie and I were playing on the living room floor when I noticed Allie crawl over to the base of the stairs.  She had a certain determined look about her and I just had a feeling she might try to climb up a stair or two.  So I went over and stood behind her, prepared to catch her when she stumbled.  But to my absolute amazement, she climbed one, two, three stairs without so much as a wobble!  She then looked back at me as if she was just as surprised and proud as I.  Her immediate success apparently gave her a large burst of confidence -- because after that she just went ahead and climbed all the way to the top of the stairs like it was no big thing!  I couldn't believe it.  I guess all that time in the jumperoo prepared her well!
