Lately I've been trying to teach Allie to say "no thank you" in her "nice voice" instead of barking out "no!" when she doesn't want something. I hadn't been successful until last night, when I told her it was time to go night night and she responded with an immediate "no thank you!"
She did it again this morning when I told her it was time to get dressed.
I felt guilty when I made her go to bed/get dressed anyway. How is it that toddlers are so smart?!?
