- While trying to comb Allie's hair after her bath: "Buzz off Mommy!" I guess she learned that one at school because I never use that phrase. I had to ask her, "Did you just say buzz off??" She answered in a very impatient tone, "Yes!"
- While telling her, no, she could not get off the potty without wiping her too-too: "Hey! Hey! Shhhhhhh! Don't tell me no Mommy!" (The "hey's" at the beginning of her sentence were spoken over me telling her no.)
- After driving over a bump a little too fast in the car: "Be careful mommy!"
- While insisting on brushing Allie's teeth for her before allowing her to do it herself: "No Mommy. Allie's toothbrush. Put toothbrush RIGHT HERE. You go time out." She was wagging her finger at me for that one.
