Usually, when I pick Allie up from daycare, I walk in the front door and wait for Allie to be brought out. When she comes out, Allie pretty much always walks straight past me, gets her backpack, and then heads straight for the door. However, last Friday I was chatting with a girl at the front desk and didn't immediately notice when Allie came out. Eventually I looked down and there she was, just standing there looking up at me with a great big smile, holding her hand up so I could see the smiley face sticker that was stuck to the back of it. She was bursting with pride. I said, "oh, did you get a sticker?!?" She just nodded her head, with that smile still firmly plastered across her face. The front desk girl told me Allie was awarded the sticker for good behavior in class.
I took these pictures when we got out to the car. She kept the sticker on for a few hours -- despite it falling off several times!
